Is your Fitness Brand different from your competition? How is it different? Is the experience that you deliver different enough to make it worthwhile for someone to embrace your Fitness Brand? Are you doing what every other fitness business is doing? Why?

If you don’t have the answer to any of these questions… then you are up Shits Creek and should really be thinking about going to work for someone that can answer these questions. I’m not kidding.

Your Fitness Brand needs you to answer these questions without reservation and have a solid understanding of what that difference is and how it applies to someone’s life. Does your brand make someone think they will get something different from you that your competition can’t give them?

In the video below Rocco Castellano, Fitness Celebrity Business Coach explains the two most important aspects of your Fitness Brand that makes it powerful.

Donald trump knows now that his “Trump” brand delivers on a promise that if you invest in his deal, purchase a product with his name on it, or live in one of his buildings you will experience luxury.

Martha Stewart promises that your life will “literally” be better when you follow her recipes or buy her bedsheets… and it usually doesn’t disappoint.

Does your fitness brand even have a promise that can be delivered on? Have you kept that promise? Do you even care?
When considering your fitness brand understand what it is you stand for and what promises you want to keep.

Watch the video below and see what I had to say about Fitness Brands and the promises they keep. Please put your volume on loud after the intro… thanks.

Some people are just not cut out to be Local Fitness Celebrities and then there’s people that don’t know that they are. Being a Local Fitness Celebrity is a responsibility to help change lives by using the media to get your specific message out to the public at large. Creating the credibility to go with your personality is what Fitness Celebrity Business Coach Rocco Castellano talks about in the video below:

It was a little weird for the past week. For some crazy reason my blog “Fitness Branding 101″ would not let me in to add new posts. After spending several hours talking to a bunch of people I finally got it to work. Yippee!

At this past years askROCCO Fitness Celebrity Summit I talked about some of the projects we are working on to help “YOU”, the fitness professional, become better at the business of fitness. As with many of you understanding fitness is easy but knowing where to get your book published, a DVD produced, CD’s recorded or just getting your website designed can be a nightmare… not any more.

Check out the video below and leave some comments.

So often as a Fitness Business owner we think we need to bowl people over with all sorts of facts, figures and statistics to why they should buy our services or products. Usually all we do is overwhelm and confuse the shit out of the potential client or customer. I call this “Busying Up the Box”, after a now very famous Microsoft iPod parody.

It is more important to keep your message as simple, clear and concise as humanly possible. The more simple it is the more understandable… the easier it is for someone to hand over their cash or credit card. It’s a shame that many of us make it so hard for our customers to give us money… not anymore.

Checkout the video below to get a clearer understanding on… simple… clear… and concise.

Next week I will take you through some Media Coaching.

When most fitness professionals think of branding they believe it’s just a logo thrown on some business cards and signs. This is absolutely not the case.  Although a logo is part of your brand, it is not branding… and your logo is not your brand, it is just a representation of your “brand” (business, service or product).  Your brand is an entity… branding is the way you promote, represent or provide experience that relates to that entity.

At my askROCCO Fitness Celebrity Summit in Albuquerque, I took some of the top fitness professionals in the world through an exercise that helped them understand how their brand made other people and their customers feel.  In your business you must understand what experience your customers, clients and potential customers leave with.  Is it a good experience, a great experience, a safe experience, a scary experience?

One of the most recognizable reasons of failure in the fitness business comes as a shock to most people. They execute a great marketing plan for a so called great idea but can’t seem to make real money at it. They listen to every friggin’ sales guru, internet marketer and business consultant and try to implement everything they’re told… just to figure out it was a shitload of work for minimal results.

The reason for this is they are trying to push products or services that they really aren’t passionate about. This fitness professional still doesn’t understand that you need to understand who you are, what you “really” stand for and then you will find the customers and potential fans that are attracted to you and your Fitness Brand.

Here is a short video that talks about how realizing… I am an asshole made all the difference in the world to my “Fitness Brand“.

This is the launch of my brand new blog, Fitness Branding 101.  I have so many fitness professionals that call me on a regular basis to ask me how I have been able to build my “Fitness Brand” to the success that it is today. Well the truth is,  it wasn’t easy and I took my lumps… but that’s good news for you.   Now you won’t have to go through the same shit I had to.

This blog is about real challenges and how I will show you how to overcome those challenges with easy to implement exercises to strengthen your business muscle and create a sustainable and profitable brand.

Here is a video from one of my Fitness Celebrity Summits that speaks to “What a Real Fitness Brand Does“.  It’s only 4 minutes long so take a gander at it.
